MSI B760M BOMBER Thermal Control
In this high-load open world, entering dense jungle caused my CPU to spike from 62°C to 85°C in a second per AIDA64, triggering a reboot—it felt like a bad joke. I tried lowering the processor performance by one notch in BIOS; temperature dropped by 6°C, but FPS plummeted from 70 to 52 per RTSS, a helpless trade-off. I enabled the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel, using non-linear binding and activating burst mode at 75°C. AIDA64 stress tests showed the temperature range converged to 68-76°C, and HWInfo confirmed voltage stayed at default.
