Is the Huntkey T620 causing crashes in Ratchet & Clank?
Honestly, trying to run a next-gen masterpiece on this cooler is basically a stress test for my patience. The Huntkey T620 completely choked during the computation peaks of the rift jumps; core temps hit 96℃, causing the Vcore to drop by 0.08V, which led to a hard crash and reboot every 15 minutes. I tried stuffing three extra 120mm fans in the case blowing directly at the CPU, but temps only dropped by 3℃. The fin design on this thing is just a joke. I finally gave up and went into the BIOS to cap the max boost clock at 4.6 GHz and forced the fan curve to 100% above 70℃. After two hours of OCCT CPU stress testing, temps finally settled between 82-86℃ without a single error. I did lose some performance, with minimums dropping from 55 to 48 FPS, but that's a trade-off I'm happy to make if it means the PC actually stays on. CPU power is now holding at 120-135 Watts with fans locked at 2000 RPM. I saved the BIOS profile so I never have to deal with this nightmare again.
