Can I fix Samsung 9100 PRO thermal throttling in Dune: Awakening?

This drive is insanely fast, but it runs hot enough to fry an egg. Every time I sped across the dunes, the system would just reboot on me—absolutely ridiculous. In PCIe 5.0 mode, the Samsung 9100 PRO controller jumps from 40℃ to 85℃ in like 10 seconds, triggering a hardware-level thermal throttle that hangs the I/O. I tried dropping to PCIe Gen4 in the BIOS, but while it cooled down by 12℃, loading times slowed by 40%, which I couldn't stand. Instead, I overhauled my front fan curves to blast air directly onto the M.2 heatsink and capped the disk's peak power in the power plan. HWInfo showed the controller finally stabilizing between 65-72℃. At first, the fans sounded like a jet engine taking off, but a stepped curve fixed the noise. Idle temps are now 38-42℃. I exported the crash logs to verify the thermal timestamps, and fan speeds are steady at 1400-1600RPM.
