Optimizing Dragon Age The Veilguard on an aging ASRock Z370M?

Running a modern AAA title on a Z370 is basically a survival challenge for the CPU. During combat, the game turned into a slideshow, with frame times bouncing wildly between 15ms and 120ms. I tried dropping the resolution and killing shadows, but the game looked like a pixelated mess and the FPS still sucked. I went nuclear with the GamePP Resource Scheduler Panel, locking all physics tasks to the P-Cores and cranking the power plan to 'Ultimate Performance'. Watching the RTSS curve, the jitter didn't vanish, but it at least settled into a 30-50ms range, which is barely playable. The craziest part was the VRM temps hitting 88℃; my fans sounded like a jet engine taking off.
