Solving CPU Throttling in MH Wilds
During fights with giant monsters, my frame rate would suddenly plummet from 120 to 50, accompanied by the roar of the fans. I tried setting fans to full speed in the BIOS; while temperature dropped 5℃, the noise was like a power drill and completely unbearable. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to set a 74℃ trigger and a linear step increase up to 2200 RPM. Cinebench R23 loop tests showed peak temperatures suppressed to 77-82℃ per AIDA64, and the frame drops disappeared.
