Fixing VRM Thermal Throttling
During intense dinosaur hunts, I cautiously noticed that after half an hour, the frame rate would steadily slide from 70 down to 45. I first tried disabling Turbo Boost in the BIOS; although temperatures dropped by 12℃ per AIDA64, the 25% performance loss made me very hesitant. Using the GamePP Hardware Sensor page, I identified a 6-second fan response lag and shortened it to 0.5 seconds while increasing max speed. RTSS showed frame time fluctuations narrowing to 13-20ms, and GamePP confirmed VRM temperatures stabilized at 85-91℃ per AIDA64.
