Optimizing NVMe Read Latency
It was ironic that using a top-tier drive still resulted in textures momentarily disappearing during intense firefights. I first tried updating the firmware; while speeds improved, the flickering persisted, leaving me feeling helpless. I opened the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, tuned the depth to 64, and optimized the controller's read/write weights. Random read latency stabilized at 18-26ms per AIDA64, and random read speed remained stable at 70-85MB/s per CrystalDiskMark, with temps at 52-65℃ via HWInfo.
