Fixing CPU Frequency Jumps
Exploring the tomb, the frame rate fluctuated wildly in areas with complex lighting, making me very cautious. I first tried disabling power-saving options in BIOS, but CPU temperature soared to 92℃ per AIDA64, leading to severe thermal throttling. I used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to set the mode to High Performance and set the minimum processor state to 100%. Frame generation time converged to 22-26ms per RTSS, and fan speed stabilized at 1400-1600RPM per GamePP, with temps at 78-84℃ per HWMonitor.
