Configuring NVMe Queue Depth
Switching combat perspectives caused annoying stutters as the SLC cache filled up, drastically slowing down resource loading. I tried setting virtual memory to half the disk space, which worsened the I/O conflicts and increased frame drops. Using GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, I raised the queue depth from 1024 to 2048 and switched power management to High Performance. CrystalDiskMark showed 4K random reads improving to 68-75MB/s, and load times dropped from 12s to 5s.
