How to optimize virtual memory for Kingston HyperX DDR3 1866?
Running this game on DDR3 is basically like trying to feed a jet engine with a straw; my RAM usage was pinned at 99%, and the system was desperately using the disk as a crutch. The bandwidth on the Kingston HyperX DDR3 1866 just can't handle 4K textures, with page file swap latency jumping between 45-62ms, causing a massive hitch every three seconds. I tried closing every single background app, but that only freed up about 400MB—a complete joke of a solution. I ended up manually setting my virtual memory to 32GB and moved the page file to my fastest NVMe partition, then killed every non-essential Windows service in Task Manager. In Resource Monitor, I saw the hard page faults drop from 120 per second to about 15, which significantly cut down the stuttering. I actually tried 64GB first, but the system boot time became ridiculously slow, so I dialed it back to 32GB. RAM temps hit 55-62C, and my fans were screaming at 1400-1600RPM. It's still a struggle, but at least it doesn't freeze every five seconds.
