Why is the Biostar H310MHD3 throttling in Silent Hill 2?
Walking through those foggy streets, the frame rate would suddenly dive from 50 to 20, which completely kills the atmosphere in a horror game. The Biostar H310MHD3 has a pretty bare-bones power delivery system, and under load, the VRM temps shot up to 90-95°C, triggering aggressive CPU throttling.
