Fixing SLC Cache Saturation Freezes
Riding into Saint Denis often resulted in the screen hanging on a loading interface for seconds, which felt out of place. I tried running a disk defragmentation in Disk Management, which was useless for an NVMe SSD and only added unnecessary write wear. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase the depth to 128. CrystalDiskMark showed 4K reads rose from 32 to 48-55MB/s, and HWMonitor confirmed temperatures stable at 41-53℃ during the process.
