Optimizing Kingston HyperX Savage 8GB for Unreal Engine 5?
Every time I panned the camera, the screen would hitch violently—a nightmare when you're trying to showcase high-fidelity assets. RTSS showed the Kingston HyperX Savage 8GB struggling with 4K textures, creating abnormal memory page swap delays of 20ms - 35ms. I tried killing every unnecessary background service, but the engine still hovered around 7.8GB usage in Task Manager; that feeling of hardware limitation is just depressing. I decided to use the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Config to bump the SSD queue depth from 32 to 128 and locked the page file at a fixed 16GB. CrystalDiskMark showed random 4K reads jumping from 30-38 MB/s to 45-55 MB/s, and the crashes stopped.
