Should I lower RAM frequency for G.Skill 64GB in Judgment?

In the crowded streets of Kamurocho, my frame rate would suddenly tank from 80 to 55, which is a huge problem in fast combat. The 6800MHz clock on my G.Skill Trident Z Royal was putting way too much pressure on the Integrated Memory Controller (IMC), leading to 12-18 ECC error corrections that caused the drops. I tried 'High Performance' drivers, but that just added 5℃ to my temps without fixing the lag—totally useless. I eventually dialed the frequency down to 6400MHz and bumped the voltage to 1.4V to keep the signal clean. RTSS showed the frame time variance shrink from 12-25ms to a tight 11-14ms. I had some weird boot delays when I first changed the clocks, but reloading the XMP profile sorted it out. RAM temps are sitting at 52-58℃, and AIDA64 stress tests are finally coming back clean.
