Loading Defense Grid felt like watching paint dry. Background processes ate 10.8GB of my Kingston 16GB DDR4 2666, causing lag. I tried clearing temp files, but it did nothing, leaving me frustrated. I then used GamePP Resource Scheduler to set real-time priority and High Performance mode. GamePP baseline verification showed frame intervals dropping from 8.3-12.1ms to 5.1-6.4ms.
