How to solve memory channel issues on Jginyue X99M-PLUS D4?
During fast time-loop transitions, my frame times would jump from 16ms to 60ms, which is lethal in a twitch-shooter. CPU-Z revealed that my quad-channel memory wasn't fully active, causing bandwidth to fluctuate wildly between 40-50GB/s. I tried updating the chipset drivers first, but that just gave me two BSODs—definitely not the fix I was looking for. I decided to shut it down and reseat all four sticks into the A1, B1, C1, and D1 slots, then forced the frequency to 2133MHz in the BIOS. RTSS showed the frame time variance shrinking to 12-18ms, and the smoothness returned.
