Solving Zombie Horde Stutters
Facing hordes of zombies, my CPU temperature shot up to 93-98℃, causing the frame rate to crash from 60 to 30 FPS. I tried setting the BIOS fan mode to Full Speed, but the noise was unbearable and the temperature only dropped by 4℃, making me very cautious. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to set a stepped increase to 85-100% for the 75-95℃ range and added a 6℃ hysteresis interval. Now, temps are stable at 78-84℃ per HWiNFO, frequencies stay at 3.5 GHz via CPU-Z, and memory is 38-45℃ per GamePP Hardware Sensor.
