Is the Biostar A320MH PRO too weak for CP2077 Overdrive?
Cruising through the neon streets of Night City and having your FPS crash from 60 to 20 is an absolute mood killer. The Biostar A320MH PRO has a very basic power phase design, and Overdrive mode just pushed it too far. The VRMs hit 110℃ almost instantly, forcing the CPU into a severe current-limit throttle. I tried switching the Windows power plan to 'Balanced,' but that just tanked my minimums to 15 FPS—totally unplayable. I went into BIOS and hard-capped the CPU TDP at 65W, then cranked my front case fans to 1500 RPM to force more air over the VRM heatsinks. In OCCT stress tests, the clock speed finally stayed stable between 3.6-3.8GHz without those cliff-like drops. I had a weird boot delay after applying the power limit, but re-enabling the XMP profile fixed it. VRM temps now hover around 88-94℃. 3DMark confirms the frequency curve is finally flat, though the VRMs still run hot at 88-94℃.
