Battlefield 2042 VRAM Lag Fix
In complex scenes in Battlefield 2042, VRAM bandwidth hit its limit when processing large textures, causing frame generation time to jump from 12ms to 22ms, which felt like a severe bottleneck. I tried lowering texture quality, which alleviated the delay but noticeably degraded visual quality, making me cautious about the trade-off. I used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to enable memory prefetch and fixed the virtual memory to 16GB. VRAM usage stabilized at 12.5-13.8GB per GPU-Z, and frame generation time converged to 14-16ms per GamePP benchmark test.
