How to fix thermal crashes with PCCOOLER RT620P in Unknown 9?
These random crashes were driving me insane; every time I entered a dense architectural area, I'd get a 'Core Clock' error code. It was a total disaster. The RT620P had a 10℃ - 15℃ lag in responding to power spikes, which caused the CPU cores to hit the thermal ceiling instantly. I tried the 'Auto Fan' setting, but the noise was deafening and the temps still swung wildly—just a waste of effort. I eventually forced the fan curve into a stepped mode and tweaked the Core Voltage to 1.28V in the BIOS. Looking at the frame time graphs, the jitter dropped from 18ms - 45ms down to a smooth 14ms - 22ms, and the crashes stopped entirely. I had one weird boot failure right after locking the curve, but a BIOS update sorted that out. CPU temps are now 65℃ - 72℃ and RAM is 44℃ - 50℃. I exported the config file to save these settings, and it's been perfectly stable since.
