Lowering Latency in MH Wilds
During 1v1 gunfights in Monster Hunter Wilds, my key response felt sluggish, and I was losing close matches. The CPU temperature was climbing to 82-85℃, causing latency spikes. I tried overclocking the CPU to gain performance, but the temperature got even higher, making the lag worse. I realized heat was the bottleneck. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Config to increase the fan speed threshold at 70℃ from 45% to 65%. This proactive cooling kept the CPU cool under load. Temperature stabilized at 68-72℃ per AIDA64, and input latency dropped to below 12ms per RTT test.
