Why are large map loads so slow in Metaphor: ReFantazio on the AMD Ryzen 5 5600?

Loading Midgar took forever, killing the vibe. I tried closing processes, but it only saved 2 seconds. I used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase the queue from 512 to 1024. CrystalDiskMark confirmed sequential reads rose from 3500MB/s to 3800MB/s, cutting load time to 5 seconds with drive temps at 45-50℃ per AIDA64.
