How to fix voltage drops on Onda H610M for Final Fantasy XV?
I thought this build was stable, but once I hit the Insomnia city scenes, the Vcore slowly sagged from 1.2V to 1.0V, which just nuked the runtime libraries and caused a crash. I tried limiting the processor state to 99% in Windows, but my FPS tanked from 60 to 45, and the frustration was mounting. I went into the BIOS, swapped the Power Management from Power Saving to Extreme Performance, and locked the Load-Line Calibration to 1.25V. Monitoring showed the Vcore finally stabilized at 1.24-1.26V, and frame times tightened from 18-30ms to 14-17ms. The Extreme Performance mode initially pushed the CPU to 90℃, so I had to set a really aggressive fan curve to keep it under control. RAM stayed at 42-48℃ and VRMs at 70-78℃. The voltage sag is gone, and the game is finally playable.
