Fixing RTX 4060 Ultra W OC frequency swings in League of Legends?
The way my FPS plummeted during teamfights was honestly pathetic for a low-load game. I was seeing the frame rate bounce between 144 and 90 FPS, and the GamePP sensor page showed the GPU clock swinging wildly from 1200MHz - 2100MHz with voltage fluctuations of 0.08V. I tried the 'Prefer Maximum Performance' setting in the Nvidia driver, but all that did was make my fans louder without fixing the spikes—a complete waste of time. I then used the GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Adjust Wizard, switched the load-line to manual, and added a +0.015V offset to the core voltage. In 3DMark, the frequency curve finally flattened out, and my FPS stayed locked above 140.
