Fixing VRM Overheating Stutters
While speeding through midnight streets, I felt a slight but fatal stutter in the visuals. I first tried setting the CPU voltage to a fixed value in BIOS; although temperature dropped by 4℃, it caused unstable restarts during idle. To solve this, I used the GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Guide to switch control to manual and tuned the offset to +0.03V. Frame generation time converged to 12-16ms per RTSS, CPU temps stabilized at 74-80℃ per AIDA64, and VRM temps stayed 85-95℃ per HWInfo64 while voltage held 1.1-1.3V per GPU-Z.
