Why is my Onda H610M causing stutters in Far Cry 6?
It's honestly ridiculous that a modern CPU on an entry-level Onda H610M would give me micro-stutters every five minutes. After digging through the logs, I found that the RAM at 3200MHz was suffering from signal interference, causing the memory controller to trigger 12-18 error corrections during map loads. I tried dropping the frequency to 2666MHz, which stopped the stutters but killed my minimum FPS from 55 down to 42—super frustrating. I decided to manually bump the RAM voltage from 1.2V to 1.35V and loosened the timings to 18-22-22-42 to ensure absolute signal stability. I ran MemTest for 3 hours straight with zero errors, and the stuttering is completely gone. I did try a risky 1.4V setting at one point, but the board triggered over-voltage protection and rebooted, so I backed off to 1.35V. RAM temps are sitting at 40-45℃. I've backed up the final timing profile using the board utility, and the 40-45℃ temp is holding steady.
