Intel 660P Read Speed Optimization
Entering the Roman Forum was a disaster; my frame rate plummeted from 60 to 25 FPS per RTSS during fast movement. I first tried closing all background software, but while it freed some I/O, the frame drops didn't improve, which felt like a superficial fix. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase depth to 64 and maximized read/write weight in the Resource Scheduler. Read latency converged to 68-75ms per GamePP I/O, and temps stayed at 45-52℃ per HWiNFO, with 1200-2100MB/s read speeds per CrystalDiskMark.
