Restoring SLC Cache Performance
In the vast desert maps, loading times reached 30 seconds; watching that slow progress bar was absolutely maddening. I tried using the built-in Windows disk defragmenter, but it didn't help and only increased drive wear, which made me feel terrible about the mistake. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to set the depth to 1024 and cleared 200GB of useless cache to restore SLC space. CrystalDiskMark showed sequential reads returned to 1200-1400MB/s, and HWiNFO64 confirmed temperatures between 35-48℃.
