Does Kioxia EXCERIA PRO SLC cache fill-up cause gaming lag?

Fighting a Thunderjaw is stressful enough without the game suddenly tanking in FPS. I realized my SLC cache was hitting the wall; once it filled up, my write speeds plummeted from 7000MB/s to a pathetic 1200MB/s. It was a total performance cliff. I tried three things: first, deleting random files to free up space (useless), then disabling write caching in Windows (which actually made the stuttering worse). Finally, I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Config to push the queue depth from 1024 to 2048 and forced a write cache flush policy. CrystalDiskMark showed a 22% jump in 4K random write performance, and those combat hitches completely vanished.
