Optimizing 7800X3D PBO settings for Wuthering Waves?
The jump from a 50 FPS floor to a consistent 85 FPS is an absolute game-changer. The 7800X3D's V-Cache is legendary, but in Wuthering Waves, the core scheduling between the P-Cores and the cache cores was slightly out of sync, causing frame times to bounce between 12-24ms. I tried the Windows High Performance power plan first, but that just dumped more heat into the CPU without fixing the micro-stutters. I went into the BIOS, enabled PBO Enhanced Mode, and set the Curve Optimizer to -20 across all cores while locking my RAM at 6000MHz. My Cinebench R23 multi-core score bumped up by about 5%, and the in-game frame curve is now flat as a pancake. I did run into some random idle reboots at first, so I had to back the voltage offset off to -15 to get it stable. Temps stay between 65-75℃. Scheduling latency dropped by 30%, and the game finally feels as fast as the hardware should be.
