Solving memory leaks in Dune Awakening with Corsair LPX RAM
After surviving in the dunes for a few hours, the once-smooth gameplay starts to chug, and the performance decay is absolutely infuriating. Monitoring showed my Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200MHz 16GB climbing from an initial 8GB up to 14.5-15.8GB (GamePP), a textbook memory leak that squeezed out all available headroom. I tried restarting the game, but it was just a temporary fix; two hours later, it happened all over again, and the cycle of frustration made me really question the devs' optimization. I then enabled the GamePP Resource Scheduler Panel, setting an automatic memory fragment cleanup every hour and locking the game process to 'High' priority.
