BF2042 memory bandwidth and VRAM scheduling on Jginyue H610M-VDH
Moving fast across the map, distant building textures would just pop in late, which is distracting in a fast-paced shooter. I checked the GamePP Resource Scheduler Panel and found that due to motherboard bus limits, the memory controller was hitting 115-130ns of high latency. I tried increasing the page file to 64GB, but that just choked the disk I/O and made the drops worse; it was a lesson that software can't magically fix hardware bottlenecks. I then set the game process to 'High' priority and used GamePP Memory Controller Load Monitor to suspend all useless background sync services.
