Reducing Memory Latency Spikes
Traversing the wasteland, the loading bar would freeze at 80% for seconds, creating a frustrating lag that destroyed the game's atmosphere. I tried simply enabling the XMP profile in BIOS, but the system blue-screened and rebooted after ten minutes of gameplay, making things worse. I used the GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Adjustment Wizard to lower timings to 36-38-38-72 and raise voltage to 1.25V per HWiNFO. AIDA64 showed response times converged to 78-84ns, and MemTest86 confirmed zero errors with temperatures at 48-52℃.
