Fixing NVMe Loading Freezes
I was totally immersed in Where Winds Meet until the screen started freezing for 0.5s during fast travel, which completely killed the vibe. I tried disabling fast startup in Windows and updating my SSD drivers, but the stuttering frequency didn't budge. Then I used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to bump the queue from 32 to 128 and enabled high-priority mode. The result was instant; peak frame times dropped from 45ms to 14-18ms per RTSS, and my disk stayed at 42-51℃ per AIDA64. I also saw IO response times hit 12-28ms via GamePP Hardware Sensor, making the world feel seamless again.
