Why does my system freeze in forest scenes in The Witcher?

I was hunting high-level monsters when my system just froze without warning, totally killing the immersion and forcing a hard reboot. I tried disabling all Windows power-saving options, but while idle temps rose, the crashes didn't stop, which was beyond frustrating. I then used the GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Adjustment Wizard to switch to L2 mode and set the CPU core voltage offset to +0.03V. After a one-hour Cinebench R23 stress test, voltage stabilized at 1.22-1.26V per HWInfo64, and VRM temps stayed at 76-82℃ per AIDA64, finally letting me save.
