How do I stop micro-stutters during combos in Phantom Blade Zero?

I was mid-combo in the bamboo forest when my character visibly lagged, breaking the immersion. I tried increasing the page file size, but it only dropped my frame rate to 45 FPS. Desperate, I used the GamePP Memory Controller Load Monitor to tighten timings from 16-19-19-38 to 16-18-18-36 and bumped voltage from 1.35V to 1.38V. AIDA64 confirmed latency dropped from 98-105ns to 82-88ns. Now the combat feels tight and responsive, saving my run from frustration.
