Solving Nioh 2 Stutter on ASUS Z790
Sieging Oyamada in Dual Hero mode felt like a nightmare. My ASUS Z790 VRM spiked to 82℃ per AIDA64, while core voltage jittered between 1.25V and 1.32V, causing micro-stutters. I tried increasing virtual memory first, but it just made loading worse and didn't touch the instability. Then I used the GamePP BIOS Load Line Voltage Wizard to lock VCC at 1.28V and set LLC to L4. After a brief blue screen, I fine-tuned the offset for stability. RTSS showed frame intervals dropping from 12ms to 8ms. AIDA64 confirmed voltage held steady at 1.27-1.29V, and fans stayed at 1800 RPM.
