NVMe Queue Depth Tuning
While moving quickly across the wasteland, I noticed a tiny but irritating sense of visual tearing and loading lag. It totally killed the immersion. I first tried disabling the indexing service in Windows Disk Management, but the improvement was nearly zero, which left me feeling frustrated. I then used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase the queue depth from 1024 to 2048 and enabled forced write cache flush. AIDA64 confirmed random read response times converged to 6-11ms, while HWMonitor showed temps at 45-53℃ and CrystalDiskMark verified 4K reads at 48-65 MB/s.
