Why is my Sapphire RX 7800 XT lagging in Mass Effect Legendary?

Walking around the Normandy was a nightmare; my frame rate was swinging wildly between 110 and 60 FPS, which felt incredibly choppy. Even though the Sapphire RX 7800 XT has plenty of VRAM, HWiNFO showed memory bandwidth utilization fluctuating between 62% - 68% with constant page swapping. I tried enabling Enhanced Sync in the driver, but that was a mistake—input lag spiked to 32ms, making the game feel like I was wading through mud. I eventually dove into the registry to bump the virtual memory page size from 4KB to 64KB and wiped about 6GB of shader cache. Using RTSS, I saw frame times tighten from 11-22ms down to a rock steady 8-12ms. I actually tried setting the page size to 2MB first, but the game just crashed at the loading screen, so I backed it off to 64KB. Core temps settled at 64-69℃ with fans at 1500 RPM. Verified via GPU-Z that memory clocks are now locked at max, keeping frame times at 8-12ms.
