Fixing Seagate Firecuda 530 1TB read latency in Mass Effect
The jump in texture loading speed makes galaxy traversal feel seamless now, which is a huge relief after the nightmare I dealt with. Before this, my Seagate Firecuda 530 1TB struggled with 4K texture streaming, leading to severe LOD delays where character models stayed blurry for seconds, which felt absolutely terrible. I initially tried enabling Advanced AHCI mode in the BIOS, but it did almost nothing and actually slowed down my boot time. I switched tactics and used the GamePP Peripheral Driver Conflict Detector to roll back to a stable NVMe controller driver version, while simultaneously disabling Link State Power Management in the power settings.
