Taming RZ620 Noise in FF16
I was losing it when the PCCOOLER RZ620 fan speed jumped from 800 to 2200 RPM in FINAL FANTASY XVI, shattering the immersion. I tried setting the power plan to Balanced, but it tanked my FPS from 120 to 85, which was unacceptable. I opened GamePP Fan Curve Configuration, raised the PWM threshold from 60℃ to 70℃, and capped the fan at 2000 RPM. HWiNFO64 showed CPU temp settling at 78℃ and noise dropping from 45dB to 38dB, finally saving the vibe.
