Solving Memory Latency in Elden Ring
I was losing fights to the Godrick Knight because my dodge rolls had a noticeable delay. Frame time jumped from 8.2ms to 12.5ms per GamePP, which felt like a broken controller. I tried manually locking the memory frequency in BIOS, but it made the system feel even heavier and slower. Frustrated, I used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to set the game process priority to Highest and disabled background sync services. The change was instant. Memory read/write latency converged to 32-35ns per GamePP Baseline Verification, and memory temperature stayed stable at 45-48℃ per AIDA64.
