How do I stop visible lag when turning characters in DS2?

I was stuck in the DS2 coastline, watching my character turn with a painful 12.5-18.2ms delay per GamePP Hardware Sensor. I tried clearing temp files, but memory usage stayed at 3.2-3.8GB, offering zero relief. Frustrated, I opened GamePP Resource Scheduler to set the game to Real-time priority and switched to High Performance mode. The change was instant. Frame intervals dropped to 8.4-9.6ms, and memory temps stabilized at 45-48℃. Finally, the immersion was saved.
