How do I stop CPU overheating during Dead Space 2 stealth?

I felt the game stutter badly during the USG Ishimura stealth, with FPS dropping from 60 to 45. I tried maxing out the fans manually, but it just got louder without cooling the CPU. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Panel to set the 80℃ threshold to 1600 RPM. AIDA64 showed the temp dropping from 88-94℃ to 75-78℃. This stable performance allowed me to save the config and keep playing without frame drops.
