Why is my high-end GPU hitting VRAM ceilings in Control 2

Based on report ID 2025-CN-082 using Windows 11 24H2 and driver 560.1, Process Monitor showed VRAM fluctuating wildly between 15.2GB and 15.8GB in Ultra RT settings, pushing frame times over 80ms. I spent hours on clean driver installs to no avail. Eventually, I navigated to Task Manager Detailed view and swapped the process priority to High, then triggered a 2.1GB redundant cache flush via a memory utility. HWiNFO logged VRAM temps at 71C-76C with an 81C peak, staying within 3% of public benchmarks. The teary stuttering vanished, though minor dips persist during heavy particle effects, which marks the physical bandwidth limit of the card.
