Stabilizing CPU Frequencies
While sneaking through the tropical rainforest, dense enemy spawns triggered maddening stutters that broke the tension. I tried lowering all in-game graphics settings; while average FPS rose, the irregular drops persisted, which was incredibly frustrating. I used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to force Ultimate Performance and adjusted the fan curve to 2200 RPM per HWMonitor. Now, frame time is stabilized at 14-17ms per FrameView, CPU Vcore is a steady 1.22-1.28V per HWMonitor, and those 3.2GHz to 1.1GHz fluctuations seen in CPU-Z are gone.
