CoD2 Corsair DDR5 Frequency Lock
I felt the pain of 14-18ms frame times in CoD2 multiplayer, knowing my Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 6800MHz 16GB was underperforming. I tried a simple reboot, but the voltage stayed at 1.10V per GamePP Hardware Sensor, keeping latency high at 85ns via AIDA64. Desperate, I used the GamePP BIOS Loadline Voltage Adjustment Wizard to force the XMP profile, raising voltage to 1.35V and locking 6800MHz. After verification, AIDA64 confirmed latency dropped to 72ns, and GamePP showed stable temps at 55-60℃. The frame time stabilized, and I finally felt the smoothness I was paid for, saving my rank and sanity in one go.
