Fixing thermal saturation on Thermalright PA140?

The gunfights were perfectly smooth until they weren't—sudden, jarring stutters that got me killed more times than I can count. Looking at the logs, the Thermalright PA140 was struggling with core temps hitting 88℃ - 94℃, causing the clock speeds to bounce wildly between 4.5GHz and 3.8GHz. I tried the High Performance power plan, but that just pushed the temps to 98℃ in two minutes, triggering a hard throttle. Total nightmare. I ripped the cooler off and found the factory paste was applied unevenly with visible gaps. I swapped it for a high-end 13.5 W/mK paste using the nine-dot method. In RTSS, temps dropped by 14℃ - 18℃ and clocks stabilized at 4.9GHz - 5.2GHz. I actually messed up the second mount—one core was 6℃ hotter than the rest—until I tweaked the screw torque for better pressure. Fans are humming at 1300 - 1600 RPM. Cinebench R23 confirms no more throttling, and RAM stays around 58℃ - 63℃.
