Fixing CPU Thermal Spikes
During intense firefights in Battlefield 2042, I noticed micro-stutters and saw temperatures skyrocketing on the digital display, breaking my immersion. I tried setting the fan mode to full speed in the BIOS, but the noise became unbearable while only reducing the temperature by 3℃ per AIDA64, which felt completely inefficient. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration panel to set the 80℃+ threshold to 100% load and fine-tuned the pump voltage to 1.35V via HWiNFO64. Core temperatures stabilized at 76-82℃ per AIDA64, and frame times converged to 14-18ms per RTSS.
