I/O Scheduling for Combat
During fast dodges, my screen would twitch violently, causing extreme anxiety and missed parries. I tried lowering shadow quality, and while my FPS went up by 10, the stuttering persisted, making the fix feel superficial. I then used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to set read priority to maximum and optimized the I/O scheduling algorithm. RTSS showed frame time converged from 15-40ms to 11-14ms, HWMonitor kept temps at 52-60℃, and GamePP measured read latency fluctuations between 108-135ns.
